Carolyn Cobb, of the Little Rock Realtors® Association, was chosen among very respectable local board and association Realtors® of the Year as the 2012 Arkansas Realtor® of the Year on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. The banquet was held during the Arkansas Realtors® Association’s 88th Annual Convention at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock. The Arkansas Realtors® Association is proud to have Carolyn representing our state this year.
The banquet spotlighted the local Realtors® of the Year from all the local Realtor® Boards and Associations around the State, and recognized their services over the past year. The Realtor® of the Year criteria is set by the National Association of Realtors® and includes service to the community, business accomplishments, service to the local, state and national Realtor® organizations, and adherence to the Realtor® spirit of honesty and fair play in all life experiences.
Carolyn Cobb, of Caldwell Banker RPM, is a member of the Little Rock Realtors® Association. She was born and raised in Central Arkansas. Carolyn has been a Realtor® for ten years and has been a broker for seven years. She has raised three beautiful daughters and now has four amazing grandsons. Carolyn is the 2012 President of the Little Rock Realtors® Association. She serves on the Executive, Nominating, Table Top, Awards for Excellence, Programs, and Finance committees of the Little Rock Realtors® Association.
Carolyn is a member of the Arkansas Realtors® Association’s Risk Reduction, Nominating, and Convention committees this year. She is a “Sterling R” contributor to ARPAC and a member of “The Realtor® Party.” She joined other Realtors® from Arkansas in the “Realtor® Rally” at the Washington Monument. She acts as a “Call to Action” broker for both State and National Associations.
Carolyn not only helps to raise funds for one of the State Association’s philanthropic organization, Special Olympics of Arkansas, she is also very involved with the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary. She also helps out with the Little Rock Realtors® Association’s projects for Habitat House.
The Arkansas Realtors® Association is the state’s professional and trade association for persons in real estate. It is the umbrella group for Arkansas’ local Realtor Boards over the state and in turn is the state arm of the National Association of Realtors®, which has headquarters in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Members of the local, State and National groups subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics and are identified by the registered term, “Realtor®.”
