FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Amy Eden, of the South Central Arkansas REALTORS® Association, was chosen among very respectable local board and association REALTOR® of the Year as the 2018 Arkansas Realtor® of the Year on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. The Gala was held during the Arkansas REALTORS® Association’s 94th Annual Convention at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Arkansas REALTORS® Association is honored to have Amy representing our state this year.

The banquet spotlighted the REALTORS® of the Year from all the local REALTOR® Boards and Associations around the State, and recognized their services over the past year.  The REALTOR® of the Year criteria is set by the National Association of REALTORS® and includes service to the community, business accomplishments, service to the local, state and national REALTOR® organizations, and adherence to the REALTOR® spirit of honesty and fair play in all life experiences.

Amy works for Coldwell Banker RPM Group in Bryant, Arkansas. Amy has been in the real estate industry since 2005. Since beginning her real estate career, Amy puts a great deal of importance on real estate education and furthering her knowledge in the industry. Amy is graduate of the Arkansas REALTORS® Graduate REALTOR® Leadership Academy, a program that seeks to identify and equip local REALTOR® leaders to future leadership positions in the ARA, in their communities and in life. Each year, the group spends time participating in programs and activities to strengthen their leadership skills in the areas of legislative issues, volunteerism, spokespersons training, ethics and decision making, effective communication, and team building.

Amy is heavily involved in his local community and continuously focuses the light on the REALTOR® brand.  Amy participates yearly in the Marine and Corp. Toys for Tots Drive since she was a young child. She participates with her local Habitat for Humanity and volunteers for Special Olympics Arkansas.

Amy is currently serving on multiple committees in her local board. These include Public Relations, Awards for Excellence, Safety, Nominating, and new agent orientation. Amy currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Safety Committee and serves on the Diversity Committee on the state level. She has attended both National Association of REALTORS® Conventions in both Chicago and Washington D.C.

“I feel so very honored to have been awarded this very special REALTOR® Of the Year award. I never thought out of all the other wonderful hard-working REALTORS® nominated, I would be the REALTOR® chosen. I was blown away when they called my name. I’m pretty sure I was in shock. I feel so blessed that it still does not seem real. I can’t wait to attend the National Association of REALTORS® convention in Boston in November where I will get the opportunity to walk across the stage waving my state flag. I feel very honored to represent the great state of Arkansas along with other REALTORS® representing their state” says Amy Eden.

The Arkansas REALTORS® Association is the state’s professional and trade association for persons in real estate.  It is the umbrella group for Arkansas’ local REALTOR® Boards over the state and in turn is the state arm of the National Association of REALTORS®, which has headquarters in Chicago and Washington, D.C.  Members of the local, state and national groups subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics and are identified by the registered term, “REALTOR®.”
