Arkansas REALTORS® Association Appoints Miki Bass as Chief Executive Officer
Longtime, Dedicated Association Employee Brings Vibrancy to Her New Position
(Little Rock, April 25, 2013) The Arkansas REALTORS® Association, the state arm of the National Association of REALTORS®, is pleased to
announce that Miki Bass has been named Chief Executive Officer. With more than sixteen years of experience within the Association, Bass has brought positive energy and enthusiasm to all of the roles she has played. She has served as the Chief Operating Officer, Education Director, Meeting & Convention Planner, and staff liaison to many of the Association’s committees.
During her employment with the Association, Bass established the Graduate REALTORS® Leadership Academy, a State program which identifies and equips local REALTORS® leaders for future leadership positions in the Arkansas REALTORS® Association. She continues to maintain and update the program annually with new classes beginning each year. Bass also worked very diligently on the “Chris Polychron for President Campaign” which successfully guaranteed an Arkansas REALTORS® will serve as President of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Bass has served on many National Association of REALTORS® Committees including Professional Development, Equal Opportunity and Cultural Diversity, Meeting and Conference Committee, and the State Education Directors Committee, which she chaired in 2011.
“I couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter in my journey with Arkansas REALTORS® Association,” said Bass. “REALTORS® invest so much of themselves in their industry and community. I am blessed to be able to work so closely with such wonderful professionals. They make a difference everyday and I am proud to be a part of it.” Bass is a native of Fordyce, Arkansas and currently lives in Little Rock with her husband of 19 years, James, and their 2 children, Lila and JP.
As Chief Executive Officer, Bass plans to focus on program expansion and member involvement. She has made a declaration to get more REALTORS® involved in the Association to help further its growth and benefits to members and consumers.
